For my March monthly card I decided to use a photo instead of e.g. patterned paper. Next time I would print my photo on presentation paper or any other printable cardstock. Because of the surface of my Epson photo paper (Yes, I print at home exclusively.) when taping the dies onto the photo, the tape, even though it’s low tack, leaves adhesive on the photo. It just doesn’t look nice. So this is definitely something I need to remember.
I also wanted to try foam for dimension instead of two to three layers of cardstock. Well because of the pressure when die cutting the foam gets squeezed and therefore becomes larger than your original letters.
It doesn’t bother me that much. I mean it’s just going into a pocket. You will see what I mean at the end of the process video when I am taking a closer look at the finished monthly card.
