Finally, I got a chance to finish my Project Life® 2022 pages for August. When I received the Heartwarming kit by DLS Design I knew right away that one of my design team projects would be pocket pages. I wanted to show that even though Heartwarming is the November kit you don’t have to use it on fall projects exclusively. I don’t ever look at the colors of my photos to see which kit or paper goes with it. It magically always matches.
Usually I work with journal cards that have a spot for journaling, so I used vellum to print my journaling on instead.
I wanted to use the Gilmo Big Dies for my monthly card using the negative (positive = e.g. the cut out letters, negative = paper where letters were cut out). It then evolved into ‘I need to cut out titles on my photos, too‘. Crazy but I love the final result, especially with papers.
