How To HYBRID In Photoshop | Part 9

08/05/202208/05/2022 Janine Leave a comment

I haven’t done a video for my series How to HYBRID in Photoshop in a very long time, so when I saw this photo of my son in the pool and a digital paper from Ali Edwards’ GOOD Story Kit, I knew what I wanted to do: I wanted to create a photo overlay.

I love how the final photo looks. My son’s face is popping and it kind of looks like an advertisement in a magazine or on a huge billboard. It is pretty simple to create this effect. All you need is the Magic Wand Tool and adjust the blending mode for that layer. Watch the process video below and follow along.

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to leave a comment or use the contact form in the top menu.

Because I am recording the audio while I am working in Photoshop I am not able to offer these videos with a German voice over! Sorry!
