I am currently all into die-cutting and have recently purchased a bunch of dies. I usually get generic shapes or dies that I can use over and over in my projects.
When I got the Stitched Hearts from Lawn Fawn in the mail I knew exactly that I wanted to use them with the Inspire Kit by DLS Design. My son’s new school pictures came in handy as well. We didn’t get to get his hair cut in time so it looks a bit messy. I love it anyway because his hair is just so thick and heavy. Something he’s got from me.
I created this layout in my 3×8 album working outside of the page protector, so the actual size is 4×8.5″. I attached bakers twine so it looks like the heart is hanging from the top of the page.
For the text I cut out a heart from a piece of scrap paper, scanned it into Photoshop, measured the exact size and turned the shape into a path to add my text.
I cut out a few hearts from the paper set, as well as the vellum. I folded the hearts in half and adhered them together. Last but not least I added word phrases stickers, puffy stickers and stamping.
