In preparation of December Daily, where I plan to make my own album as well, I played around with the Genuine kit by DLS Design. The result was this 4×4 Gratitude Album. I plan on filling this album in November with 10 things I am grateful for.
I used 1mm thick chipboard for my cover and cut it to size. I then adhered paper from the Genuine kit to the outside and the inside. I punched out some leaves with a Tim Holtz die which I then gave some texture by crumpling the leaves and adding Distress Oxide Inks as you can see on the detailed photos. I used the Hunter Medium Alpha stamp and cut out the letters to form the word Gratitude I added some ephemera from the kit as well and finally, for a little bit of color pop, I added red enamel dots in different sizes.
I plan on adding photos as well as stories so I added a few pages of grid cards cut down to 4×4 from my Journaling Cards. I can’t wait to start filling this album with stories of Gratitude.
