December Daily® 2021 | Day 7 & 8

I enjoyed these two layouts so much. I love how December Daily® makes me get all creative. One of my goals this year is to use all of the products I have ordered this year. So I have to make a lot of things work for me.

So for Day 7 I wanted to use the heart from the Die Cut Paper Inserts. The holes are punched on the left so you’d have to put it on the right side of your album. However, I was working on the left side in my album. I simple folded the hole part and turned it into a flap which holds my story.

The felt number 7 is from last year’s December Daily® Kit.

For my journaling I used the Paper Die Cut Labels from the Main Kit. Since I do not have the digital version of the kit, I scanned one paper label and used it as a template in WORD. This way I was able to add my journaling.

Day 8 turned into a real sewing project. For this layout I was inspired by one of Ali Edwards’ project from the Story Class for Delight.

I am telling the story about the wrapping paper I bought this year. Since we ran out of wrapping paper I got to buy new ones.

I stitched a border around each roll and turned each roll into a shaker pocket. Love this so much.

I then added a tag from the Die Cut Paper Inserts and added one of the papers from the Main Kit to the back. Finally, I added the cork number which I think is from a past Week In The Life™ Kit.
