Have you ever been to a crop? If you haven’t do it, just do it. This past weekend I traveled about 2 hours to scrap with like-minded people for a whole weekend. I am part of a German forum (Yes, these still exist.) and twice a year a weekend-long meet-up is organized. One in spring and one in the fall. The crops usually take place in a hotel with big rooms (as you can see in my collage below).
Everyone brings their projects and material they need to work on that weekend. Sometimes there are even workshops or you can sell some of your own scrapbooking stuff that you don’t need anymore. Other times there are scrapbook shops as well where you can spend a lot of money.
The best part of a crop though is, that you get to meet the people you have talked to online in real life. I’d say that most of us do not have scrapbooking friends in our regular group of friends and not everyone understands our hobby, so meeting people and making friends who know about the scrapbooker or the product your talking about, is just really fun and brings so much joy.
So if you can find a crop in your area or organize one yourself. Enjoy our hobby even more with like-minded people. I can tell you, you won’t regret it.
