For my fourth class for Level 3 of the Altenew Educator Certification Program (AECP) program I decided to go with Quick & Simple Cards For Everyday Crafting. For my card I focused on scoring which was part of the last lesson in the class.

I started with the part that I knew would take the longest: die cutting and ink blending the pieces for the flowers. For my flowers I used the Cape Marguerite die set which creates two beautiful flowers you can ink in any color. The die set uses Altenew’s famous keyhole system

I ink blended my flowers with Pool and Navy. For the centers of the flowers I used gold cardstock from my stash. For the stems I used some recycled strings from my stash as well.
Next I used a piece of cardstock about 1/4″ smaller than my card base and added scoring to the outside edge. I then stamped my sentiment from the Arched Foliage bundle with Obsidian Pigment Ink and assembled my cards.
