Toning it down was the task for the lesson for the Color Your Day class for Level 2 of Altenew Educator Certification Program (AECP). Using one dominant color in combination with greys or earthly tones was so much fun. I even got to play with my BetterPress and a press plate again. They are so much fun.
All products used are listed at the end of this post.

This card came together pretty quickly as I started by adding Chamomile to the Modern Leaf press plate and then running it through my die cut machine using my BetterPress. For the flowers I used the Modern Dahlia stencil set and Warm Gray Fresh Dye Ink Mini Cube Set (my favorite greys). I started with the lightest color.

The sentiment is a stamp that comes with the Modern Dahlia set and I stamped it with Obsidian Pigment Ink. The dies that coordinate with the set come separately but I recommend getting it because it makes cutting the flowers and sentiment so easy.
Finally, I assembled my card using foam adhesive on the flowers and sentiment for some extra dimension.
