Today I am sharing my final card for Level 3 of the Altenew Educator Certification Program (AECP) program. Once approved I will create a workshop with Altenew products. Woohoo.
I decided to create a card for the All About Layering 6 class which focused on die cut flowers and man these were challenging.
All products used are listed at the end of this post.

I first created my cardstock in the colors I wanted by inking white cardstock with my favorite colors. Then I die cut all the pieces from the Charming Foliage die set and assembled each flower individually. That was the most time consuming part of the whole process. I usually watch YouTube or Netflix when I do something like this.

Then I decided to cut an oval into the front of my card base and started arranging the flowers and leaves around it.

I didn’t want to put my sentiment from the Classic Greeting bundle on a plain background. So I cut an oval card base slightly bigger than the oval on the front. I used the Geo Diamonds embossing folder, which is no longer available, and embossed the top flap with it.

Then I finally added my sentiment. Because the embossing folder put lots of pressure on the inside oval card base, the top flap became a little wobbly. I cut another oval from cardstock to add more stability.
