For the first time ever I participated in Kristina Werner’s Mail Call for August (around 31.26 minutes). On her website she has themes for each month. All you do is create your card, mail it to her (if you include a return envelope with postage it will be send back to you) and watch your card on her monthly mail card video.
When I made this card I was just playing around, trying some techniques. I started off by inking some colored cardstock and then did some dry embossing with a stencil. I cut out the Spellbinders hi a couple of times and stacked the diecut for dimension.
I used the first version of the background on the hi. I did mess up the dry embossing there just a little bit but I couldn‘t be bothered to do the background a third time, so I just used the messed up version.
