The Level 2 class In The Mood For Color for Altenew Educator Certification Program (AECP) featured a different color each lesson. I wanted to get out of my comfort zone and focus on a color that I usually don’t go for when creating cards. I have to admit I really really like green now.
All products used are listed at the end of this post.

For my background I used the Nature Splashes Layering Stencil Set and all kinds of different shades of green. For some texture I added splatter of the dye inks and water. For a final touch I used stencil number 4 from the set with some Enchanted Gold Relief Paste for even more texture.

I embossed the sentiment from the Classic Greetings Bundle in gold on black cardstock and stacked it for more dimension. As a final touch and because i felt that something was missing, I added a slim frame from black cardstock that is slightly smaller than the background and card base.
