I finished the second class All About Layering 4 for the Altenew Educator Certification Program (AECP).

I used the Build-A-Garden: Tulips & Friends again because the theme was Exotic Tulips and I have to use what I have. For this card I was inspired by one of the example cards from Day 2 in the class. The tulips were arranged on the outside of the card base leaving white space in the center. Perfect for a big and bold sentiment (…and I love big bold sentiments!).

I colored the tulips using the Bubblegum Dreams Fresh Dye Ink family and love how bold the colors are. Finally, I cut out the huge congrats sentiment from the Timeless Sentiments 2 Die Set from black cardstock and stacked it three times. To have it blend with the background I added some vellum behind it.

This card is so simple yet has a stunning effect with the bold colors and sentiment.
