I created this layout a while back for Simple Scrapper. I started by typing out my journaling in Photoshop and used a path to create a circle cutout in the center as a placeholder for my photo. To get great blending results, I printed my text on Hammermill paper. I then used Pool and Olove to create my background. The two colors met in the middle of my paper and created a third color. I love this effect! To bring all of the colors together I added splatters of black ink. I think you can never gor wrong with splatter.
Finally, I cut out my photo with a circle die and also matted it with black cardstock. In addition I typed up the small title on my computer.
Before I started this project I went through my album to find out what the orientation of the layout should be. Therefore, I was able to left-align the text and add my holes on the right side.
