For the March/ April issue of The Simple Scrapper one of the tasks was to work with a collection. Whew that was a tough one since I don’t really work with kits or collections anymore. However, I still have the Ali Edwards Travel Collection Kit from 2023 which currently is only available in digital format.
I added another page in my travel album from our visit to Amsterdam in October 2022. I had a vision of polaroids when I decided to use family selfies that did not turn out how I had hoped. But they were fun anyway. I created the polaroid frames with my Cricut Joy and adhered the photos to the back. I used a paper which was not wide enough.
Because I wanted to create a fold-out, that was no problem. I simply added another paper to the back of my fold-out and used a stripe of that same paper on the left side where my holes would go. I added my journaling with a Muji pen, added embellishments and some Paper Splatter from Picket Fence.
My little fold-out page stays closed with magnets which you can’t see because the are all hidden behind the paper. I also added some clear embossing (with an embossing pen & powder) to some of the texts of the blue paper which you can’t really see on the photo.
